Today the children in Whio brainstormed ideas about the different types of traffic they knew.
After that the children were given a page of images showing different modes of transport/ traffic and in buddies had to sort the traffic. The children sorted the traffic images into their own categories. Some children did this by grouping the pictures into 'road' or 'footpath' traffic, some grouped them based on number of wheels and some grouped them according to the use of the vehicle e.g: safety vehicles, camping vehicles etc.
It was great to see the children working together. We were also very impressed with their fine motor skills when cutting out the images.
