About Us

We are 72 year 1 and 2 children from Halswell School in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Our studio is in the Huritini (pronounced Who-ree-tee-nee) Learning Centre.
Huritini is the Māori name for parts of the Halswell River. It means "many turns."

The Huritini Learning Centre has two parts:

Whio (blue duck)
Whio (Blue Duck) at Staglands, Akatarawa, New Zealand.jpg

Tī Kōuka (cabbage tree).
